Malus - Crabapple

Pelargonium Splendide

With such an amount of blossom you would never guess that the little Malus bonsai is 'broom' style underneath all those flowers.

Pelargonium  x tricolour or 'Splendide' formerly called P.'violarium'. In my opinion one of the prettiest flowers of the pelargonium family. After flowering, dead-head, it will then have a second flush of flowers in mid summer, admittedly not so many as now. Quite difficult to get cuttings to take. I've found the best way is to plant the cuttings into small peat-plugs and keep just moist, never overwater otherwise the cuttings will rot-off very quickly.
